2027 Global Conference on Urban Governance (GCUG 2027) will be held in Barcelona, Spain from September 18 to 20, 2027. It is an international conference dedicated to advancing innovative, inclusive, and sustainable approaches to urban governance in the context of rapid urbanization and global transformation. The conference will bring together city leaders, policy makers, urban planners, researchers, and industry professionals from around the world to exchange insights on governance models, planning strategies, and practical solutions that enhance urban sustainability, resilience, and livability.

Manuscripts can be submitted via the conference email contact@gcug.org.cn, or through the Online Submission System (will be available soon).

Only original papers will be considered. The manuscripts must not be previously published or accepted for publication elsewhere. Must not be under review by any other conference or publication during the review cycle.

Authors are encouraged to check the similarity index of their paper before submission. Papers suspected of plagiarism, self-plagiarism, repeated publication, etc. will be rejected without further consideration.

Publication

Registered and presented full papers will be included in the GCUG 2027 digital conference proceedings and submitted to major citation databases (including, but not limited to Scopus) for review and indexing.
